Hi,

I have a Lexar 256mb thumbdrive that I use on my PC. It's formatted to MS-DOS_FAT32, but when I try to use it on my mac, it says its' not readable and it won't mount. I thought FAT32 was compatible?

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks guys.

Shows up in disk utlity but even though the mount button is accesible, when I click it, nothign happens.

Same thing happened with my external fw drive. I had one formatted as fat32 using partitionmagic on pc, and when I plugged it in, it didn't mount either. It said the partition type was MS-DOS_FAT32.

I then tried another hd and it mounted, and for that one it just said fat32.

Strange. I don't know what's goign on. :(
