Thumbnails not visible in MyPhoto 'events'

Hi all,

I sync only my iphoto events to my appletv. All the photographs sync fine with my appletv. However, the thumbnails view shows up with just the empty square frames :-(
I tried to remove and resync all my photographs (all 8000 of them!) and no luck.
Any suggestions?
