Thumbnails size through browser?

I know all about resizing photo thumbnails in Finder, so no problem there.
What I on the other hand have problems with is thumbnail size through browser.

uploading pictures on, for instance, Facebook. the thumbnails are very small.

I did have it working on Lion (I do not remember how I got it to work)
But recently upgraded to Mavericks. (Never upgraded to Mountain Lion)

I have tried it on Safari, Chrome and Firefox.
And it's the same in all browsers.

Hope to get some help..
