Recently come across a slight glitch in Thunderbird that I just can't seem to resolve.
A few days ago I noticed that there were two identical mail folders. One had old email in it, the other was empty. I deleted the empty one.
The next time I opened TB there were again two folders. ?? One full of old email, one empty.
So after much deleting, of folders filters rules etc... I've finally got it down to only one folder that keeps reappearing. Lets say the folder name is Cthulhu.
If I rename the folder Bob, as soon as I restart TB I find a Bob folder AND a Cthulhu folder.
If I move the Cthulhu folder to the trash and then empty the trash, again... as soon as I reopen TB Cthulhu is back. It always comes back?!?
As far as I know, I have deleted all rules or filters that had anything to do with this folder. This evil, maddening folder...
It's actually annoyed me so much that I'm thinking of nuking TB from orbit and finding some other email client to replace it.
Now, if I do that and the Cthulhu folder pops up there... then I'm done for.
Any ideas?
