Is V2 any faster than 1.5.0.8?

I really like the app. it was just about 10 times slower than Mail.

i don't know, every mozilla products need more time to open, but once opened, Thunderbird receive email faster than mail.app, and more accurate.

with 1.5... I used to click New / reply and it could take 10-15 secs to open the window.

What are you people doing? ;)

I can't say that it's become much faster (25 - 30 % maybe), but it has improved. There are a lot of little things that have been improved so much.

I never had much luck with Apple's mail application so I haven't used it since it improved.
