Hello MR Community,
I'm using Thunderbird with SSL and my own personal e-mail server. Everything is working fine except one minor annoyance. Every time I want to connect to my server, it asks me if I want to continue connecting. Mail didn't do this to me; after the first time I told it to trust my server's SSL, it never bothered me again. With Thunderbird, even after I told it to trust it every time, it continues to ask me upon connecting.
Does anyone have any insight on this? I don't anticipate buying a certificate. Can I generate my own certificate? If not, is there an option to bypass this dialog? I would really like to continue using SSL with Thunderbird.
