I cannot start Thunderbird any more. Was working last night, I put computer to sleep and when woken up this morning, Thunderbird fails to start. I downloaded the most recent version and installed on top of the old one, but still no reaction. Restarting computer also did not help.

Application starts. shows pull-down menus but fails to show a window. Error code is:

Exception Type: EXC_BAD_ACCESS (SIGBUS)
Exception Codes: KERN_PROTECTION_FAILURE at 0x0000000000000018

Can start manually with -safe-mode option, but then it is unuseable.

Any hints?
