Thunderbird inbox - Library question

I ran OmniDiskSweeper after installing S/Leopard and importing all settings etc from Tiger.
Among the results is the following:-
Users/myname/Library/Thunderbird/Profiles/6u8xf7ee.default/Mail/Local Folders/ Inbox This shows 3.8GB

Problem is that my Inbox is actually empty. Any suggestions please???
