Thunderbird + Spotlight + Quicklook?

I know thunderbird is a third-party app and thus less implemented into os-x as apple mail, but do you think it's somehow possible to link spotlight and quicklook (for previewing attachments) to it anyway?

Any addon/ plugin available?
