Thunderbird

I have been having terrible times with Gmail's IMAP and Mail.app in Leopard. Messages aren't deleted, I'm not getting some of them and it's slow as heck.

So was going to put Thunderbird through its paces.

Was looking for feedback from any "power" Thunderbird users out there...

Don't bother with T'Bird IMHO. Find out why your mail app is flakey.

How come? What's so bad about Thunderbird?

On my XP machine it overwrites subject lines mostly. Other problems with address book. re-install doesn't fix probs. slow on message downloads. doesn't seem to do well in background.
