Can Thunderbolt 2 storage enclosure serve as Thunderbolt 3 hub for my 2018 MacBook Pro 13 with just a Thunderbolt 3 to Thunderbolt 2 adaptor?

https://www.apple.com/shop/product/MMEL2AM/A/thunderbolt-3-usb-c-to-thunderbolt-2-adapter

I wonder if those functions will also work with just ONE Thunderbolt connection to my 2018 MBP?

1. Connect to the storage device. ( I think it definitely will work)

2. At the same time, charging my MBP.

3. Use another Thunderbolt 2 port on the storage device to connect an external 4K monitor.

4. Use another Thunderbolt 2 port on the storage device to extend another storage device.

Does anyone have the experience using in this setup?

Thanks!!

1 and 4 will work, but 2 and 3 will not. The TB3 to TB2 adapter doesn't support DisplayPort displays. Although, you can use Thunderbolt 2 capable displays (which aren't 4K as far as I know). Checkout the notes at the bottom of the apple page you linked to.
