Thunderbolt 2 to HDMI TV

I have a 2015 11" MacBook Air that uses Thunderbolt 2. I'm trying to connect it to a (family old) Samsung TV through HDMI, but it seems Apple don't sell TB2 to HDMI and Amazon seems to only list MiniDisplay to HDMI.

Would MiniDisplay into a TB2 work to connect to a HDMI tv?

Any Mini Display port adapter to HDMI will work.
