Hi everyone! So I've got a 15-inch 2017 MacBook Pro with Touch Bar that I purchased in October. It's been working great minus what I assume are issues with the Thunderbolt 3 ports. I'm still not 100% sure if that is the reason though, and I've struggled searching any similar issues, maybe due to my wording, so I was hoping someone could lend a hand.

I use a laptop cooler and ethernet to connect to the internet. Since this MBP has Thunderbolt 3 ports, I needed to get a USB-C to USB and ethernet adapter. Currently, it has plugged into it an ethernet cable, my laptop cooler (USB), and my iPhone 7 charger (USB). For some reason, the connection to my adapter occasionally drops and has intermittent disconnections. Most of the time I'll need to unplug and re-plug it to get it to work (into one of the two Thunderbolt 3 ports on the left side, so it can't be a specific port), and other times it's just my phone charger that spazzes out and disconnects/reconnects back and forth for a while. I replaced the hub very recently thinking there was an issue with it, but the problem still persists.

Then there is my charger. When plugging in the Thunderbolt 3 charger there is often a delay in the laptop actually beginning to charge (says not charging), or I'd have to replug it several times (like with my adapter I try plugging it to either one of the two Thunderbolt 3 ports on the right side, so it can't be that specific port) and then wait a little for it to actually charge. Sometimes I'd even have to turn my outlet adapter off and back on for it to pick up a charge. Once it picks up a charge, though, there are usually no issues with it keeping that charge going.

Does anyone know what this could be? I am literally at a loss and it would suck massively if this was an issue with the laptop itself, given how much I've paid for it.
