Thunderbolt and possible "Target Disk Mode" transfer

Hello all. I'm getting a replacement unit from my 17" to a 15" retinabook. I am wondering if it possible to transfer my itunes and photos via "Target Disk Mode" through Thunderbolt. I did it with firewire, but I am not even sure that this feature still exists.
