Apologies if I've missed where this was discussed, but couldn't find with search. I recall [and found all the articles/documentation] regarding the right hand side ports of the Late 2016 13" being reduced bandwitch, but couldn't find if the same is true for the 2017 model. Apple doesn't appear to have updated the support doc to either include or exclude the 2017 - so does anybody know if this limitation was overcome in the interim?

they use the same motherboard with the same PCIe restrictions so yes the same I/O restrictions are in place unless you are running a 5K screen or an eGPU on the lower bandwidth port though it will make no practical difference to you.
