Thunderbolt Cable for iMac Pro?

I just pulled the trigger on an iMac Pro, which will be arriving the middle of December. I need to connect (2) 4TB G-Drives. Both drives have Thunderbolt 1 and USB 3 connectivity. Obviously, I'd like to connect the drives via Thunderbolt 1 for the best possible data transfer speed. The only problem is that the drives will be about 15' away from my iMac Pro and finding an affordable 15' Thunderbolt cable is proving to be difficult. Plus, I'll likely need a Thunderbolt 3 to Thunderbolt 2 adapter.

What is the best option for connecting the (2) Thunderbolt Drives?

Thanks!

You have two affordable choices, really.

1) Move them closer
2) Use USB. USB is sufficient speedy, as a single drive won’t saturate it.
