The Matrox DualHead2Go DP edition works on my MBP 15" 2.2ghz machine. I am using it with 2 x Apple 24" Cinema Displays. This setup has been working fine with my 2010 MBP 15" 2.4ghz but I was uncertain it would work with the new MBP as Matrox are currently testing it.
If you restore the new machine from your previous functioning MBP, it should just start working with the Matrox.
If you are setting up from new you will probably have to delete a few 'extra' screen resolutions that appear to be supported by the new AMD graphics card. The one you need is
2 * 1920x1200 60 Hz
This goes in the Active Resolutions and Refresh Rates box, via the Matrox PowerDesk - GXM Control Panel config tool.
Its early days so I dont know if there is going to be any visual funnies, but none so far.
It also has the improvement, where you can restart your system whilst connected to the Matrox device and the monitors will wake and come on without having to first disconnect the MPB.
