Thunderbolt compatible lightweight lcd screens?

I really don't like this change from display port to thunderbolt. it seems that apple is into adaptor business. Any solutions how to connect external lcd?

Any existing Mini display port adaptor will work with thunderbolt

If you had actually bothered reading a bit first, then you would know that the TB port works just like a miniDP port and requires no less or no more adaptors to connect to a display without miniDP. That way you would be educated to know enough on why you end up looking silly by not liking the change. Odd attitude.
