I Forum Bombed another discussion that wasn't exactly this. Couldn't find this one; hope I am not repeating.

I have a TB display. I saw on YouTube that it is possible to get them to meet. Looks difficult.

They say you can flash a Titan card. How?

Anyone else got ideas?

I would avoid Thunderbolt displays if possible.

The good folks at egpu.io have had some encouraging results with the latest Gigabyte TB3 add-in card and will be testing in MP 5,1. Will be very interesting to see the results. Hat tip to @itsage. [edit] to correct link

Flash Mac compatible firmware to the GC-TITAN RIDGE, maybe install OpenCore and add SSDT. I think this thread has MacPro5,1 specific SSDT info?
I think the thread should be turned into a Wiki so all the info can be summarized in the first post (with links to all the informative posts)
