I have been using the Thunderbolt display connected to my mac and using the Apple USB keyboard.
When the keyboard is connected to the display it is very hit and miss as to whether the keyboard works. If I manage to get it to work it works until the Mac is removed. When I put the computer back the keyboard seizes to work again.
I happened to read on a forum that if you use the usb extension lead that comes with the keyboard that makes it work. I thought what difference would that make? Well, I tried it and low and behold it makes a reliable connection every time. Very very strange. Anyway, I complained to Apple and they have agreed to send me out a bluetooth keyboard FOC.
Great customer service Apple but sort out this problem.
