Hi all,

I'm about to get a new Mac Mini, and I eventually will want to get two Apple Thunderbolt Displays for it. I know eventually we expect it to be updated with USB3, fused glass design, etc., but is there a reason I should not just buy one now, and wait to get the second one when the new ones come out? What would I lose in that scenario?

Thanks!

I've thought about doing the same, but ultimately I'm holding out for a few reasons:

- Apple may change the look/height/whatever physical aspect of the monitors and if I am going to have 2 side by side I want them to look the exact same

- If the new model is not that much of an improvement or at least not to the point where I feel I need the latest and greatest, I should be able to find the old model discounted and save some money as resellers liquidate stock

- (Probably most importantly) I have no immediate need to get one - it's more of a want

For now I'm getting by with an old Dell - it gets the job done
