As most people who bought this display noticed, there's no audio out from the monitor itself necessitating an extra connection to the computer if you want to use a set of external speakers. Just wanted to share that I got the Sound Blaster X-Fi Go! Pro USB audio adapter and it works great to keep the docking experience 1 wire cleaner. The only caveat is the extra $40 spent + USB port it takes up... Love the monitor though with my new Macbook Air...

I bought a cheapie USB sound card from Amazon for about $20 and it also works fine. Its plugged into my USB hub attached to the TBD.
