I've bee having issues with my Thunderbolt Display even before I got my MBP, but I was hoping someone here can help me. The issues started with my display not connecting, and needing to restart the display and hope it connected. Thought it was a power supply issue, and took it in to the Apple Store. They replaced the power cable, power supply, and motherboard.
No difference was seen, and the display only turned on part of the time. Now, the display seems to connect to my 2016 MBP 15" through the TB3 to TB2 connector, but when the computer sleeps for a couple hours it shuts down due to an error. The bug report is below.
Also, none of the ports on the back of the display work. This is particularly annoying because I really need multiple USB A ports and only have one USB-C to -A connector.
Firmware is up to date.
