Thunderbolt Display compatible with PC?

I’m thinking of getting the Dell g7. It has a USB-C/Thunderbolt 3 port. Would it be compatible with my Thunderbolt Display?

Maybe if you use apple's TB3 to TB 1/2 adapter. You have to use some type of adapter to use the TB1 mini display port on those old displays. Small investment to find out.

I'm going to -guess- that the answer is, "no".
Probably has something to do with "drivers" as well as the connection.
I could be wrong.

Pretty sure the Apple TB display is an Apple-only display.

I think it'd work just fine. You may need to install some of the Boot Camp drivers to get all the extra ports working, but it'll otherwise work without them.
