Hello guys.

I´m thinking of buying the Thunderbolt Display 27" 2011 model.

Im currently having the newest RMBP 13" with refresh rate at 30.

The are rumors that Apple is making a new gen of Thunderbolt 4K monitor just around the corner. But my concern is that my MBP will not have the save quality as the 15" RMBP with refresh rate at 60.

What shall I do? Shall I wait for the new one?

Just keep in mind that a 4k is like running 4 monitors on one panel not sure if your current mbp can handle that load and if it can consider a lot of heat coming out of your laptop. I recently just bought a used TB display for $580. Not sure if its that easily obtained in Norway? Please correct me if I am wrong anyone lol.

Ok, I understand, yes, I can get a used one, but the prices are almost similar as getting a new one...
