Hi there,

I am considering buying a thunderbolt display for my MBA:

1. Gigabit ethernet will be PERMANENTLY conected
2. I have abt 3-4 usb devices (Mice, keyboard, etc) that will be plugged into the thunderbolt hub.

If i dock / undock my MBA (without rebooting), will I be expecting to face connectivity issues? I see this talked about all the time on the APPLE review pages for this display.

Just want to see if anyone else here encounters them.

Right now (with my non thunderbholt display), I am manually plugging in / out my ethernet (via usb) and USB hub when I dock / undock my MBA to the display, no issues with connectivity. I dont want to buy a thunderbolt only to have issues...

Thanks!

You should be fine. You did not list any drives. If so, you need to eject them first. It is easy to forget.

This. I have a USB drive connected to the display for Time Machine, and I have to eject it before disconnecting. Other than that, it's unplug and go.
