Thunderbolt Display on Glass Desk

Hi all,

I just redid my home office and installed a glass desk. I also ordered a Thunderbolt Display, which should arrive in a few days. The question I have is whether the Thunderbolt Display has any kind of padding on the very bottom, or if it is just hard aluminum.

And if it is just hard aluminum, would anyone happen to know where I can get some silicon pads or silicon stripping to put under it? I wouldn't want to put hard aluminum directly onto a glass surface...
