Hey, I have setup 2 thunderbolt displays for my dad, one at work and one at home. He has a MacBook Air he always takes with him, so he can pick up where he left of. Now, the only problem is, that when he isn't using either of the displays, for instance when he's working on the road, and he uses the internal display, many of the windows are wrongly placed on the screen. The dashboard is all messed up, and in rdp he can't reach half of what should be showing. (half of the screen is word, the other half is his office software.
Why is it that the OS (Lion) doesn't scale the size and place of the windows when switching between external thunderbolt monitor and the internal MacBook Air monitor?

can anyone help please?

Thanks
