Hi,
So I have a LaCie d2 Thunderbolt drive that I use for my Time Machine backups. Since it's fairly loud (compared to the silent iMac that it is connected to), I have been looking for a way to get the hard drive to sleep as soon as possible once the backup is complete. I do realize that I should be able to use the pmset command in terminal to change the time in which OS X puts hard drives to sleep after inactivity, but I was hoping to find some way to only change this setting for my external drive - and not all drives (or some other method which should solve my problem).
Thanks!
