Hi,
Do they make macOS compatible Thunderbolt eGPU enclosures that have integrated USB ports? Basically I'm looking for a dock with an eGPU in it. I want to virtualize my Mac desktop on a Dell PowerEdge R920 running Ubuntu Server 20.04 LTS, this machine is in another room and the cable distance is just under 10 meters. I'd like to pass through a Thunderbolt 3 PCIe card to the macOS VM and then run a Thunderbolt fiber cable to the other room were the desk, three monitors, keyboard, mouse, USB DAC, and eGPU are located.
I have the VM working (Geekbench results below) and I have a reference AMD Radeon RX 480 4GB, I just need to find a solution for remote display to three monitors via DisplayPort. This will be replacing a Mac Pro 2012, I rarely do anything GPU intensive on this system so I'm not too worried about GPU bandwidth.
