Thunderbolt Question

I understand you can daisy chain different devices but is there a way to connect a VGA display (through the Minidisplay > VGA adapter) AND an external HDD at the same time?
Hope someone can help out.

Any device without Thunderbolt ports would have to be at the end of the chain - i.e. an external HDD with Thunderbolt would be connected to the MBP, then a monitor in the Thunderbolt-out port of the HDD.

MBP -> HDD -> VGA Display

Cool. That makes sense. Now let's hope they launch a nice and portable Thunderbolt HDD soon.
