I have a pre-thunderbolt imac and I was wondering, for those of you with thunderbolt enabled imacs are the sd card file transfers faster. Unless I'm mistaken on a pc an sd card slot is merely an integrated sd card reader that connects via usb, and I would assume that OSX handles the sd card slot the same way. If the sd card slot is connected via thunderbolt would we see faster file transfers from sd card to computer?

I would think the SD slot is connected via USB internally. If it was Thunderbolt I would imagine that Apple would be touting that fact.

Would be cool though...
