Thunderbolt slower than USB 3 in Boot Camp and Windows 7

Hello All,

Finally have Boot Camp (Win 7) up and running on my 15 in rMBP. When using my LaCie Thunderbolt/USB 3.0 drive, I get much slower transfer speeds than even USB 3. Would anyone know if this because of drivers, hardware problem, etc...?
