Thunderbolt Splitter? (Ethernet + External Monitor)

Does a Thunderbolt Splitter exist? I only have 1 Thunderbolt port on my MacBook Air 11" but I need an ethernet connection + an external monitor (also through the Thunderbolt port).

I don't really want to use the USB ethernet connection.

Some Thunderbolt devices have passthough ports so you can daisy chain more devices. I don't think a pure splitter exists or is even possible. So if you had a Thunderbolt display you'd be fine...

Your best bet is a Thunderbolt dock that supports video & Ethernet, such as these:

Your easiest and lowest cost solution is the USB Ethernet adapter. You'll be surprised at how well it works.

what about just an expansion for your ethernet card and find a dvi or dp or thunderbolt display

no, it doesn't exist. the tech is based on daisy-chain.
