Thunderbolt to 2 DVI adapter at Monoprice?

So I've been interested in running dual external monitors on my MBP. I know I can use a USB to DVI adapter OR buy 2 thunderbolt displays BUT... I saw this at monoprice:

It doesn't look like it's released yet and I haven't been able to find much info on it. I'm not 100% sure if it's actually DUAL monitors or just a DVI splitter (same image to 2 monitors).

Anyone have any info on this? It could be exactly what I'm looking for!

Maximum input resolution: 1920x1080p.

Thunderbolt could do what you're hoping for, but MDP can't, and this works with MDP. The description sounds like it's hardware mirroring.

Hello thewired1,

Unfortunately, this will only allow you to split and do a mirror image. It will not allow you to extend.

I would take your advice and just do a USB to DVI adapter as that will allow even more extended displays if you use more than 1. Thanks!
