I just got one, and the vendor gave me the BILL

unlike most apple products this one does not seem to have a SERIAL NUMBER PRINTED on the connector!

it only says
model a1433

emc 2590

which upon quick google search is there on every such product..

DO I need to keep that bill for availing the warranty?
If i loose it I loose the warranty?

well, first apple product I bought that does not have the serial number on it.

Help guys!

So what you're SAYING is that the product does not have a serial number ON it?

The accessories don't HAVE serial numbers on them. The warranty is inferred from the date of purchase. The vendor may KEEP a copy but as with all purchases, you should always keep A copy of your receipt for warranty purposes.

If you loose it then you should tighten it. If you lose it you may not be able to prove warranty status. Just keep the receipt. Always keep your receipts.

Accessory serial numbers are not tracked. Only CPU, iOS, displays and Airport.
