Thunderbolt to FW800 adapter?

Am I missing something? I don't see a Thunderbolt to FW800 adapter on Apples website. According to this article one supposedly exists??

Does anyone seen one of these?

AFAIK, they're not yet available for sale. Should be available soon, but no word on a date that I've seen.

Apple announced it, but hasn't released it yet.

I just wanted to make sure before I placed my order. I guess I'll just run my external drive off USB 2.0 until it's available.

It'll be available sometime in July.

I had already made a thread in the Peripherals subforum.

My answer to my own question:

If you go in the Tech specs page of the Retina MacBook Pro, the "Connections and Expansion" section states: "Apple Thunderbolt to FireWire Adapter (sold separately, available July)".
