Thunderbolt to HDMI adapter no longer working

Recently everytime I connect my 2011 pro to my hd tv the screen on my mac turns blue but no change on the tv. I tried connecting it to another tv and same situation. Anyone have any ideas how to remedy this? it's a belkin adapter of high quality which always worked in the past.

If it's doing the same with both TVs, it's either the cable or your computer. If you can, see if another cable will work. Or if you have a friend that has a Mac with Thunderbolt, try it with theirs to see if it works.

Thanks, tried with a 2012 pro and it doesn't work either, same flash of blue. Guess the adapter is finished

That would be my guess. Is there still a warranty on it?

Got it when I got my pro so no. Oh well time to buy another one I guess
