Thunderbolt to HDMI adaptor

Hi all,
I want to connect my MBP to the TV screen using HDMI connection,
i found this one on ebay

It is much cheaper than apple, does anyone here have experience with the alternative ones ?
Is there any justified reason to buy this adaptor from apple ?

I have an eBay adapter and it works fine. No reason to buy one from Apple.

I recently bought this from a site called Monoprice... I've bought most of my wires from this site as they are pretty cheap. My cable works great with no issues whatsoever.

Not sure if this has changed but when I was shopping for an adapter, I could not find many that supported 5.1 / 7.1 dolby digital audio. Most that had audio was only stereo (2-channel).
