hi all,,hope this is the right place for this ?....

i need to run a video and slide show movie from a mbp through thunderbolt to 8 hdmi equipped devices (6 lcd tis, 2 projectors)

will this work?

That should do the trick. However, make sure to get an MiniDisplay to HDMI cable (not adapter). The adapters can be a little temperamental.

It should work as long as you convert the signal to HDMI before
connecting the Splitter. I would recommend checking KVMSwitchTech as
they offer a a wide range of HDMI Extender and HDMI Splitter
solutions.
