I already searched for this in the forum and found a reply to another post but seems that no one has continued that post. There are in the market a couple o multi adapters like these: http://www.monoprice.com/products/product.asp?c_id=104&cp_id=10428&cs_id=1042802&p_id=8119&seq=1&format=2 and http://www.amazon.com/Mini-DisplayPort-HDMI-DVI-DisplayPort-3--Adapter/dp/B002IY39OK/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&qid=1333737701&sr=8-7. I am looking for something like this because in school I use VGA projectors while at home I could use an HDMI to connect to a TV. Buying two adapters would be quite expensive I think they are $20 USD each. The question here is what would you guys recommend? Has anyone some feedback regarding those multi adapters? are they any good?

What about getting a MDP to HDMI adapter for 7 USD and an MDP to VGA adapter for 21 USD?

Mini DisplayPort (MDP) / Thunderbolt
Mini DisplayPort is the current digital standard on all current Macs to transfer video to an external display or TV. It has been introduced in 10/2008 with the release of the Unibody MacBook and MacBook Pros and has gradually been adopted on all other Macs.
MDP is capable of transmitting video, and since 2010, audio too. MDP is a miniaturised version of DisplayPort. It is also license free and can support resolutions of up to 2560 x 1600, which Mini DVI and Micro DVI are not able to do.
Since 2011, all Macs come with a Thunderbolt port, which is meant for fast data transfer and also as means to connect to an external display device to mirror or extend the Mac's screen.
