Thursday (3/24) Apple Store Lines

I figured I would kick off tomorrow's threads early for anyone who plans on waiting in line for an iPad 2 tomorrow. I will be in line at the Kenwood Mall store in Cincinnati, OH trying to get a black 16GB wi-fi iPad.

So, what are your plans? Should we expect a shipment tomorrow? Already worried about scalpers? Let's chat!
 
I was in line today. I would be worrying less about scalpers because many Apple Stores are requiring ID checks and opening the box for activation.
 
I am SO SO glad I got the 2 I wanted and now done with the line stuff.

7+ hours on release day and 4 hours this past Saturday. EEEK! :eek:

Walden Galleria Mall Apple Store, Buffalo, NY :) 8am ish
Hoping for 32GB ATT.

Targets around me got stocked with 32GB VZN iPads today. No thanx.
 
I'll be going to the Voorhees/Sagemore NJ store around 7am tomorrow. I'll send an update to this thread once I see the line size.

Has anyone waited at this store recently? How have the morning lines been? I'm wondering if 7am is early enough.
 
FWIW I walked into a Best Buy twice yesterday and each time they had stock. They don't have a ton of variety but they had stock. First time (2pm) they had 32GB white, second time (4:40pm) they had 32GB black models only.

Use the links in the forum about inventory tracking. If you see "in store only" that means rush over and grab one. Worked for me at least (in NY).

If anyone is in the DC / Northern VA area, check out the Apple store in Tyson's Corner mall.

I got there 30 minutes after opening yesterday and they had plenty of stock. They were giving out tickets to people in line.
 
I'm so glad not to be dealing with any of this, ordered online my Ipad will ship Apr 1st for delivery around the 6th.

Ya I originally had also, but mine wasn't going to ship until April 11th.

I figured since I was off work for a few days I would try my luck at an Apple store in the morning, and lucky I was able to score one.

Ya never know until you try, but don't drive yourself crazy in the process. :)
 
Woke up at 815 and figured I'd head to Apple since its two blocks away. Was probably 30th in line. Got the second to last 64g AT&T!!

All they had was white, but I don't care, I got it, and only had to wait in line about 20 minutes!

Just canceled my B&H order!
