TiBook screen wear

I recently bought a 15 PB. I've heard that after a month or so you can start to see some wear on the screen from the keys rubbing on it when its opened and closed. Is it advisable to use some kind of pad when you close it? I bought one but it seems really tight when its closed and I'm worried it could cause more damage than it prevents. (To much stress on the latch or pressure on the screen). Any advice?

It's usually tight at first, but it gets better the more you use it.

check out www.radtech.us they may have stuff to help you, either a lint free cloth or wildkeepz to make sure the screen sits properly.

i use a sheet of plain white paper...i didn't use it at first and got the marks. iklear apple polish took them off though.
