I bought my brand new 1 GHz TiBook from apple.com last November and had a sticky superdrive from the outset. When I originally mentioned this (what was then a minor hitch) to apple support in July they put it down to the quality of my CD/DVDs. Now the superdrive grinds and spits out any disk of any kind but I just past my warranty. I tried all the resetting recommended online then contacted apple who said since they could do nothing. As I now live in Portugal which has practically no official apple support I have to ship my Tibook to Holland and part with it for weeks at a huge expense to my business and repairs. Has anyone experienced a similar problem and if so could a group of users put more pressure on apple to replace my superdrive ??? ruperteden@mac.com
