Tidy UP

Dear Friends,

I have tones of duplicates in my iPhoto and need to delete the duplicates. I purchased TIDY UP but do not understand how it works!
I need an easy 123 explanation of how it works. I read the manual but confused further. Please help.Thanks.

I did but they are not helpful. According to them i have to make do with the manual

Where are you seeing the duplicates?

In the iPhoto Application. I have about 300 photos but with the duplicates it's now over 1000
