Hello all,

On my PC I can open up a .tif file that I have and it contains 47 pages that I can scrool through. On my mac however this .tif file only opens up the 1st page of the file and I can't see the rest. Any ideas how I can view the whole document? Thanks!

Trevor

if you are opening the tiff in preview, the pages should all be there and visible in the drawer. perhaps the drawer is not activated (see the bitton in the menu bar of preview)

tif's open in Preview. Click the Drawer icon in the upper left hand corner to see all pages.

mac: preview
pc: "microsoft office document"
TIFF files open just fine in Preview.

I suggest trying Ifranview or Paint.NET for the Windows side.

Microsoft Office Document Imaging works well for reading multi page TIFF files though.

Where did the file come from (what program)

.TIF is a standard image file type Tagged Image File Format, it usually is not used for multiple page files, but the TIFF format does support multiple pages. Your problem would seem to be that the program that you are opening does not support multiple pages

TIFFSight might do it for you
