Since iOS 8.3, I've noticed a weird issue with regards to importing TIFF files created in Photoshop into the Photos app. When importing these TIFF files to the Photos app, the thumbnail will look normal, but upon opening the picture, the picture will be pixelated. It will do this whether iCloud Photo Library is turned on or off.
Initially, I thought this was an issue amongst all TIFF files that were imported into the Photos app. However, once I did some testing, I noticed that any TIFF files that were created, say, in the Preview app or any TIFF files I found on the web, did not have this problem. This only happens when I create the files in Photoshop. The files will pixelate, whether the TIFF file is compressed or not.
I am currently running CS 5. I was wondering if anyone running that version, or any newer version of Photoshop, would be able to check and see if they are also having this problem, so I can isolate this issue before sending a bug report to Apple.
Thanks.
