When i upgraded my Mini it had no effect on my Wireless settings, however on my iBook with a standard airport card it refuses to save the location and settings for my wireless network, entering a 128bit key every time i restart isnt an option.. any help here?

Maybe its a Airport Extreme/Airport difference, but its frustrating :(

Ed

Edit: if i turn SSID broadcast on i can select the network, but it always would automatically select it for me before.. I hate have SSID broadcast on...

In case anyone else has this problem, i cleared all my preferred networks and then rejoined my home AP and it seems to work fine now.. I'm not sure why i had to clear my preferred networks, but atleast it works again!

It was a G3 900 iBook with a Standard Airport

My PB has gone the other way!
I use a PB and Airport Express at home!
Since I installed Tiger my signal strength has improved HEAPS!
I konw a software update shouldn't necessarily affect WiFi signal strength - but it has!

Noticed over at Appletalk as well several users have also noticed the improvement!

Thanks Steve!
