Does Tiger enable the Superdrive to use all DVD (- & +) media? How do I get it to work?

well the hardware supports it

Always use Toast so cant comment on any workarounds to get native 10.4 DVD authoring to write to them.

I thought the main problem was +RW disc trying to reformat/erase them, you end up with a beer mat

See attached from Apple site

Thanks for the reply. This text "iDVD 5 also offers more options for the type of DVD you create. With a supporting SuperDrive, you can now burn DVDs in the following formats: DVD-R, DVD+R, DVD-RW, DVD+RW, and DVD+R DL. That means, of course, that you can choose virtually any DVD media on the shelf and use it for your next iDVD project." is stated here.
