For various reasons, I've not let myself get in to any proactive state of mind with upgrading Tiger until the end of July. (Mainly project deadlines and not time for any down time or surprises). I've probably perused 20+ sites both technical and anecdotal and, though there are some enthusiastic about Spotlight, Safari, speedier, Dashboard and next level postering for the future, pretty much of my project output is with FCP HD, file, jpg and teaching DVD's and CD and it seems like much of the buggy areas are still within those areas. I've remained with QTP 6.5.2, DVDSP3.0.2, Motion 1.0.2, FCP HD and CS1 which have performed flawlessly and helped me make every deadline on time. Now, I read of 10.4.3's seeding to be released. Other than the "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" can someone with a video and photo bent list some tangible reasons why jumping to Tiger at this point would be a smart move? Other than lusting after Final Cut Studio and CS2 and QTPro7's improved but problematic offers, I'm still inclined to wait even longer, though the itch to have the lastest and greatest does gnaw away, especially in the wee hours.
Thanks,
X
